๐ช For grown-ups: privacy and safety
Paws Multiverse is a set of free games for kids, made by a family as a hobby. This page says, in plain words, what the games keep, what other players can see, and how to delete it. Last updated October 29, 2026.
The short version
- No ads, nothing to buy, no trackers, no accounts, no emails, no chat. Paws are play money; they can't be bought.
- Without Paws Friends, saved games stay on this device. They live in the browser, nowhere else. The only things sent to the website are error reports from the game's code, ๐ reports a player chooses to send, and anonymous counts of which buttons, games and places get used (see the table below).
- Paws Friends is optional. Kids only ever see friends who said yes to each other. Nobody can type anything to anyone: nicknames, waves, gifts and stickers all come from fixed lists.
- Deleting is one tap: Leave Paws Friends deletes everything the website keeps about that player.
If you join Paws Friends
Joining gives your child a friend code (like PAW-ABC12) to share with friends they know, a nickname made of two words from a list (like "Captain Biscuit"), and six secret words that bring everything back on a new device. Adding a friend is a request: nothing is shared until the other child taps Yes.
Friends can see: the two-word nickname, the avatar's look (never the name typed for it), how far along they are in each game (numbers like "raid 40"), short news like "beat raid 40!", when they last played, whether they're playing right now (and if it's Pawville, "In Pawville right now"), their water park to visit, their home in Pawville (a house or a condo, a tent at the campground, a beach house), and tunes they made. In Pawville, friends see each other walking around town as it happens, and can walk over to each other. Where someone is in town is passed on live and not kept. Friends can send each other waves, gifts and stickers picked from lists.
What the website keeps, and for how long
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Friend code, nickname (two list words), the avatar's look, game numbers and news, when they last played | So friends see each other | Until Leave Paws Friends, or 12 months without playing |
| A scrambled version of the secret words | To know it's them (the words themselves stay on the device) | Same as above |
| Who is friends with whom, and who blocked whom | Friends lists, and so a blocked player stays away | Same as above |
| Friend requests | Waiting for a yes | 30 days |
| Waves, gifts and stickers waiting to be picked up | The mailbox | Until opened, at most 90 days |
| The latest water park (built from numbers only) | So friends can visit it | Until Leave, or 12 months without playing |
| A copy of the saved games on the device | So the secret words can bring games back on a new device | Until Leave, or 12 months without playing |
| Anonymous counts of which buttons, games and places get used (for example "the map was opened 40 times today"): just a number for each thing on a fixed list, added up for the whole day. No names, no player or device ids, nothing typed | To see what kids use and make the games better | 400 days |
| ๐ reports: the kind of problem, where in the game, a picture of the game screen, the browser type, and anything typed in the box | So the grown-ups making the games can fix things | 90 days. Email addresses and phone numbers typed in are blanked out. Only the grown-ups making the games read them. |
| Error reports: what went wrong in the game's code, the page, and the browser type | Fixing bugs | 90 days |
Leave Paws Friends deletes right away. The company that hosts the site (Cloudflare) may keep its own backups of deleted data for up to 30 days, and keeps its own short-lived request logs.
What we never collect
Real names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, addresses, locations, photos of your child, voice, contacts or advertising IDs. Internet addresses are only used, scrambled, to count how often something is asked for in a day (to stop floods), and are never stored with a player.
Safety features
- Friend requests: a friend code alone can't make someone a friend. Your child says yes or no thanks. Tell them to say yes only to friends they know in real life.
- Block: on a friend's card. They're removed, their waiting messages go, and they can't ask again.
- Live games (roller racing, the game show, the grocery store, the burger diner's table games, Lava Soccer, Beach Volleyball and surfing on Big Wave Island) are by invitation: a player can only invite their own friends, so everyone there is a friend or a friend's friend, seen only by nickname and avatar. In the town, kids only see friends who said yes to each other, and Pounce! (a game of tag in town) is only for friends who are all friends with each other.
- What's in the games: cartoon dogs and cats, building, cooking, racing, sports, quizzes and music. One game, One Wrong Paw, is a spooky grocery store with jump scares (no blood or gore).
To delete everything, or to ask us something
- On the device: the avatar (top right) โ ๐ซ Friends โ Leave Paws Friends. Saved games on the device stay unless you clear the browser's website data.
- Without the device: open any game, tap the ๐ on the left edge, pick โ Something else, and write "Please delete" with the friend code. A grown-up reads every report.
๐ต The music and sounds, and who made them: Credits.
